yeapppppp i loved Japan so much that i just had to go back a 2nd time :P heh
Instead of Tokyo, this trip with my brother and mom was to Hokkaido! :D

very different scenary there from Narita/Tokyo :O when we landed there it was all white :P

learnt something new tho :P
Public bath (Onsen) - of course cant take pix inside :P but anyways here's just a brief guide on how to on-sen for n00bs :P
1) wear the Yukata down to the hot spring with ur towel
2) once u get in there, there should be some baskets or lockers, undress FULLY and put the clothes in the basket
3) bring the towel (covering urself) to the onsen area
4) Scrub urself down properly (the locals are supposedly quite particular with cleaniness b4 going in?)
5) once u're done, dip ur legs in the onsen 1st to get a feel of the water :P
6) slowly move ur whole body in.
7) Soak urself for 10-15 mins (no longer than that or u'll cook ur brains :P hehehe and u'll be quite giddy)
8) get out and rinse off if u want :P

4XForce :) A bbq grill/beer garden near our work place!

Which is where i 1st tried 2 of their local dishes :) Pork Sisig!
made up of unused pig head ;) about 100pesos per dish =D its so NICE!!!! just thinking about it makes my mouth water :|~

REALLY DARK AND SCARY AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

We have been so f**king busy preparing training slides for the classes.... under the stressful conditions :)
this is my saving grace!

Every night at work, we are served with 1 bowl of Famous Amos Chocolate chip cookies + chips + 2 bottles of water and a soda =D

Pretty nice facilities huh!

Alot more enjoyable to workout since i can watch MTVs while on the some of the stations!

Drinks are still uber cheap here (tho supposedly one of the more expensive places lol lol)

Girls here were HAWT =O generally 90% of the night scene ppl are filipino chinese.... and damnnnnzzzzzzzzzz :|~ all of the girls are friendly too! ^^

They sell guns in shopping malls!!!!!!!
besides handguns there were also shotguns and rifles :O didnt take a picture of the rack since the shop keepers were already giving me the eye :P

but anyways =D the avg cost of a handgun = 20,000 pesos
the small revolvers can go as cheap as 17,000p!!!!!
which is just like 600+ SGD??????? lol!!!! can kill someone for less than a grand!

Food is still salty.....
having a hard time coping with the immense amt of salt in the food... i can literally feel myself swelling up hehehe =D

Otherwise.. things are pretty cheap here =P especially local brands for clothes and necessities.... don't expect branded goods to be cheaper than SG lol =P

Ciggz are f**king cheap... i made the mistake of buying duty free ciggs before arriving :) i was kinda laughed at by the manila colleagues since one pack of ciggs is just 35-45pesos (1 SGD+)!!! and they dont taste as bad as malaysian ciggs =O

and outside some buildings ... there are some cigg vendors selling ciggs by pack or.... SINGLE STICKS :S
one stick = 2 pesos!!! 5 cents ??? lol

My sleepless weekend~

Started my weekend without any sleep! =D I think i must have been too excited to start the weekend .... especially with these to look forward to :)

a fireworks rivercruise with Joelle! nice fireworks ! but could be longer tho :(

And then on to Kandi bar (joined by Esther, Jolene and my brother!) for a couple of long islands + lotsa losing in 5/10 :(

After which, went over to zouk to meet Viven + Sheena~, lucky for me Simon was there as well! w00000t! as usual, Simon with his harem of girls.....

Got back at 430am.. perhaps only got to sleep at around 5... leaving me only 2 hours of sleep before our boat trip! (lol i just realised its my 2nd boat ride in this weekend!)
Lesson learnt: neverrrrr neverrrr go on a boat trip after a late nite with excessive amounts of alcohol and just barely 4 hours of sleep for 3 days!

Don't expect many photos from me since i was literally hiding under the table and trying not to barf :D ahahahaha
When i woke up at 7am... i was still reeeeeling from the amount of alcohol Simon and Joelle made me drink just hours ago :P
but nooooo~ :D i had to wait till i get on the boat and then i could start swearing to never drink + go on a boat again
i actually refused Kev's beer offer! LOL :D YES IT WAS THAT BAD
the boat going up and down is fine~~~
what i can't take is..... the boat rocking left and right! #%!&%@

Even now ~ at 345am monday morning.... i'm seeing my room spin =D

Welll! generally it went pretty well! =D the yacht was pretty clean, great weather to be burnt darker than bak kua and great company :D
ahhhh~~ nothing like taking in the fresh air with couple of beers and wines (which i didnt have any) and listening to sun-soaked trance.... (some jay chou and backstreet boys as well) lol

Looking back at the event, i actually find it f**king amusing :D

Here's a lil recap of what happened~~~
it all started when i was late for work :P took my car out... went on ECP and started going at 100 (which is not too bad?)
ok ok ok i was tailgating some MPV driver whom was simply hogging the right lane.

at the Fort Road exit, i noticed some red lights flashing behind me....
"hmmm no blue lights... mebbe its just an ambulance"
soooo ... after the camera, i sped up the sheares bridge at 120+ (might be higher cuz i was just concentrating on overtaking the next bugger in front of me which is like 300m away lol lol)

and thennnn the next thing i knew, i saw 3 TP bikes surrounding me :P (WTF???? 3 ????????)
They pulled me over after coming down the bridge.... and one of them asked me for my IC + Driving license.....
me> "oook fair enough" (takes out the cards)

Mr TP1 (chinese happy-go-lucky looking guy) takes down my particulars on a lil notebook) ....

and i just had to break the ice here since he was such a spoilspoit :P
me> "sooooo whats this for"
Mr TP1> "You say leyyyy? " *in the very jee seow tone.... something like what hanny would sound like*
Mr TP1> "You pull up on slope very fast hor? 119 ley"
me> "what???? 119? (thinking to myself, phewwwwww i think chowchow got 130! but still farked cuz the limit is just 70 there)
Mr TP1> "wa! don't believe huh! u come u come! (brings me to his bike and points to his funky gadget which showed 119)"
me> giving the lost look "cant be larrr i was looking at my speedo the whole time and i never went past 110"
Mr TP1> "hahahaha our equipment all calibrated to clock speeds which usually are slower! so you CONFIRM GOING AT 120++"
MR TP1> "Anyway, we bio you from 200m away liao... we saw you keep pushing the car den we starting clocking you... but when you slowed down for the camera, we thought sua lar.. let you go.... but you!!! YOU go and speed up after the camera and push another car!"

den his backup, Mr TP2, comes in and chup ji kar.
Mr TP2> "you don't believe? you see what i clock ... (knn so many riders clock me for f**k sake???? )
***sees 113 on his uberc00l speedo (i gotta get me one of these man) ****
me> "wah 113 den he 119.... your equipment JUN BOOOOOOOOOOO? lol "

and here the lecturing begins
Mr TP2> "eh friend! your headlights so bright and flashy (ok ok i had my strobes on) den you push not ONE... BUT TWO CARS! what if one of them is a hellrider and just slams his brakes?"
(blah blah blah he continues the lecture here... while entering my data into his PDA to print via IR to his portable printer. All this while Mr TP3 was just standing at his bike with folded arms looking... never said a word. I WONDER IF HE WAS WAITING TO SHOW ME WHAT HE CLOCKED TOO haaahahahaha)

sooo the ordeal ends....
spent a couple of mins talking cock to TP1 & 2 :P at least they were nice enough to put my place of offense as Fort Road (limit @ 90) instead of where i was actually speeding (bridge limit at 70)

and i drove off....

and okayyy i was already 38mins late for work... so i thought i'd drive below 100 :P didn't think they would catch me again (i did make some jokes abt this to them just before i left!! like "heh so now i can speed of to work right? since u all will be busy looking for other cars!" )

****10 mins later - reaching Science Park *****

KNN!!!! just before i turned into buona vista, i SAW MR TP1 with his RED FLASHING LIGHTS SIGNALLING ME TO PULL OVER AGAIN! #%^@%&%@ wah lannnnnn!!!!

i seriously thought this was a beginning of a REEAAAAAAAL fucked up day =P

so i pull over AGAIN.... wind my window down....
and he says "eh!!!!!! you drive very fast hor???????"

As the driver of a yellow Lamborghini sat in peak hour traffic in Homebush at around 8.20am yesterday he flashed an annoyed look at the driver of a Suzuki Swift, who was booming music out of his car stereo, say police.

It was hardly a call to arms, but his frown provoked a 30-minute pursuit along Parramatta Road from Homebush to Glebe as the Lamborghini attempted to get away from the clearly agitated driver of the Suzuki, who tailgated the supercar and at one point even attempted to ram it.

"The Suzuki Swift was changing lanes, getting behind the Lamborghini and tailgating and also coming beside the Lamborghini at lights and revving [his car] and yelling at the driver," Inspector Sue Trusty of Glebe Police told smh.com.au.

Despite being hopelessly outclassed by the supercar, the driver of the diminutive hatchback managed to pursue the Lamborghini through heavy traffic to Glebe, where the frightened driver flagged down a police car.

Police were unable to catch the Suzuki as it sped down a side street and disappeared.

The shaken Lamborghini driver lodged an incident report with officers at Glebe police station, leaving his car parked in Talfourd Street in a restricted area reserved for police cars.He was then given a lift home by police, leaving the luxury vehicle to be picked up by his company.

Inspector Trusty suggested the driver of the Suzuki may have been suffering from delusions of grandeur during the pursuit. "When they were stopping at lights he was the one revving up. He must have been delirious if he thought he was going to drag [the Lamborghini] off."

The high-end Lamborghini, one of only 60 in Australia, can reach 100kmh in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of over 300kmh. The Suzuki Swift hits 100/kmh in 10.0 seconds and has a top speed of 190kmh.

Farking sillyporeans..... people claim that they do their calculations perfectly when they buy over cars... fair enough. but the ABSOLUTE + dumbest thing to do.. is to buy over a USED "budget' car, u'r stuck with low value, no one would love it "as it is", and a still-relatively-high-monthly payment.

I closed the deal for my car in < 36 hours..... lets see how long it takes for that/those idiot(S) who sent me that fucking sms and emails to sell their cars..... (not trading in, finding a private seller to buy it out of pure LOVE for the car..... lets just see........)

oh ... and yeah... did i forget to mention? i sold it at a higher price than what i bought it for.......

(FYI, its impossible to sell any "new" car higher price than what you bought it for. reason being the depreciation of the car itself, followed by the COE, followed by the THOUSANDS of other cars of the same make on the market, you can NEVER sell it at a higher price. period)

Since my S13 is sold, and my brother's car is only coming in June. i was offered this option by BHP automotive... topping up 3k more to get the guaranteed COE. hmmm that kinda makes it 64555 for a Swift Sport. A little on the high side! but was almost ready to go pay it!

till...... i decided... hey... i have my $ from the S13. and the Lancer to be traded in for the SwiftSport (SS). so..... why dun i take the total value and get..... TWO CARS! HEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes yes... one for me, and one for my mom! :) so nice rite????? :) must show my appreciation to my mom for even being so cool with me and my car craze.. if not for her i wouldn't have been able to have changed so many cars in this lifetime!

No mood to blog these few weeks..... everyday is so routine..... work work work :) even on weekends =D (the money is goooood)
Working thruout the week really burns one out....definitely need at least a day off to grab a cold beer to unwind from the week's stress! :D

Which is what we did last nite! the initial plan was to get Terence Tang a lil highhhhhh before he flies off to Manila ! (take care ttang!!!!!) so... since zouk is down, and we had a few suggestions like:
Alleybar - can one really get piss drunk or even a lil high at alleybar? don't forget all this was planned for terence :P
Double O - cheap drinks but oso heard its damn packed =(
Attica - heard quite happening =P lots of ang mos and SPGs, the interior looks pretty nice! but too bad not all of us could get in as they were pretty strict on the 25 yr age limit.

so... we ended up wandering Clark quay looking for a place...... hanny suggested Este Bar ... when we got there, the eye catching... or rather the attraction was at Zenzie bar ;) the 2 waitress waiting by the door + the thumping beats of eurodance =D wooo hooooo...... haiz... but cuz Ivan didn't want to "club" so ended up at Este bar. Este bar in short, as it was f**ked up, whats with the chinese/hokkien songs? f**k!

Highlight of the night was at Zenzie bar =D when Beng, Gary, Terence, Ronald, Lifeng and me left the crap este bar for more drinks @ zenzie :D woooooot =D just wished we had moved there earlier lor! music was MUCH better (in comparison), drinks were also cheaper..... not to mention the "friendly" waitresses which Beng can relate to ;) (all that talk abt titty f**k..... hahaha)

When the DJ was playing hits from 91.3 + more t-e-c-h-n-o... ahahah can just see all the suppressed "ah beng" and "ah lian" in some of you guys..... don't dennnnnnnnyyy it =D *looks at Gary especially*. Someone should have taken a picture or video of Gary and his.... "flying hands" waaaaaahahaha :D :D :D

When we woke up the following morning.............we just had to do this (since he was the only one still sleeping.....)

no updates these few days..... have been busy with moving house =O
thats right! =D i'm no longer a Easterner! (temp only hor)

now staying in Balestier =D hehehehehe
at least have more facilities at my doorstep =D i shall try to make use of the pool and gym (i know i know i'm fat..... )

having a brand new house is fantastic =O everything smells good... the walls, the toilet, the curtains, ... even the floor! hahahaha =D
